Tory Lanez- All I Want is You
A while back I shot this video for Tory as he chilled with us on tour. This was my 3rd time in NYC during the tour and on the bus ride over to that magnificent city I came up with the idea to shoot this video. I remember this night like it was last night. It was the night of Snooki’s birthday party. Earlier we had shot some principals at times square and also had a driver at our disposal. We drove to the apollo and other “iconic” locations to sightsee and pass time before Snooki’s party. We went to the party and after at like 3am we went back to Times Square to finish the shoot. This is the culmination of that night.

I usually have some story behind each video. This story is simple. I listened to my heart, shot what needed to be shot, and Del vocal and editing skills brought this piece. From Rocketeer to this. I forsee me and this guy going crazy places with our future videos. Lovin life.

She Ain’t You (Chris Brown Cover) - Legaci
Shot in the backyard of Chris Abad’s residence, Legaci and I went and shot our first cover video together. Previously, I cameo’d in their cover of Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” and help shoot their cover of “Grenade”. Now we took on Chris Brown’s “She Ain’t You” with a little twist. I met these guys on the My World Tour and we always talked about doing videos with each other when we got back to our home, the Bay Area. I look forward to doing many more videos with this collective of gifted Filipinos.
Legaci- “Behind The Dream EP 2”
It was most excellent to be reunited with some of my tour family. Legaci and I were back at an event that we had be doing and going to for many years, Kababayan Fest. Except this time, it was all of our first times returning to this circuit after touring, and for me it felt surreal and great. The festival has been growing almost exponentially every year. Anyways, don’t be surprised to see more Legaci x Yanez collabos in the future.
Rocketeer (Far East Movement)- Del Lazaro Cover
A project I worked on with Del Lazaro of Legaci. Currently touring with Justin Bieber. He came to me seeking advice on how we could bring his One Man Acapella’s (OMA’s) to the next level. It took us no more than 3 mins of brainstorming to arrive at this concept. From the beginning of this video I wanted Del’s fans and viewers to expect just another typical HD OMA. However, as the video progresses, I wanted to showcase Del’s progression of his mastery of arrangement through aesthetically bringing each viewer to a new style of OMA not seen anywhere else.

Monster (Freestyle) - Sean Kingston ft. Trav
This was an interesting shoot and video. It was shot on the weekend of the MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood prior to Sean’s Verizon Pre-VMA concert party. I was following along side Sean as Detail drove in his Lamborghini. I edited this video the same night and little did I know that in the morning of its completion, within 24 hours it would receive over 6 million hits.

A video for the fans of Kid Cudi prior to a free show brought on by Diesel Clothing. My first video with my 7D. I do not in any way condone the cutting of class. But, had I not cut class to record this, my life would be inconceivably different. Follow your gut.
